THE MAINTENANCE OF YOUR MALA
Our malas are hand-knotted.
This allows the mala to be manoeuvrable and ensures that the gemstones do not damage each other. Only one bead will come lose with a possible breakage. The strings used to knot the malas will wear out with intensive use, and there will come more space between the knots and the bead.
Regularly check your mala and have it re-knotted when necessary.
KEEPING YOUR MALA
Whenever you do not use your mala, you can keep it save in the hand-made sachet that you have received with your mala.
Keep the mala of the ground.
Cleanse your mala using incense when you have not worn it for a long period.
Do not wear your mala while sleeping. You can put your mala in the special sachet on your bed stand.
You can also use the sachet to keep the mala save when you are travelling.
ADVICE FOR USE OF THE MALA
Our jewellery are made of gemstones.
Do not put gemstones in water, or wear them while taking a bath or shower.
Do not wear the mala in bed.
Do not use perfume, body products (e.g. body mild or lotion) or sun screening products. These products can damage the gemstones.
Gemstones can change.
The clarity can get misty or develop little cracks. However, the other way round is also a possibility.
A misty gemstone can also get clear. They say that the gemstones adjust themselves to the wearer.
